About 107 Charts
107 Charts is a small, independent study pack for people preparing for the FAA Part 107 remote pilot knowledge test, built specifically for the chart-image questions the FAA adds starting October 26, 2026.
Who makes it
107 Charts is made by Danny Slover, LCDR USN (Ret.).
Danny Slover is a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander with 26 years of service, spanning nuclear-qualified submarine operations and leadership of unmanned systems missions across the undersea, surface, and aerial domains. Among that work, his teams employed unmanned aerial systems to conduct battle damage assessment on ships, giving commanders fast, detailed imagery of hull and topside damage without sending sailors into hazardous spaces.
How the drills are written
- Every answer cites its FAA source down to the page or section: Remote Pilot sUAS Study Guide (FAA-G-8082-22), Aeronautical Chart Users' Guide, AIM, AC 00-45H, and 14 CFR Part 107.
- Diagrams are original simplified illustrations based on FAA symbology, not copied chart images and not for navigation.
- Explanations are in plain English and say what the chart shows and what the rule requires.
What it isn't
107 Charts isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA, and it doesn't guarantee a passing score. Always study with current FAA publications and charts.
